We've all spotted something a bit strange on the streets the morning after the night before - usually just the odd pile of vomit, but every now and again it's something a little more baffling, like a single shoe or the remnants of someone's fancy dress. But one guy can probably beat all of those weird experiences, having stumbled across a bloke stuck head first in a clothes recycling bin.

Ashley Kerr, 29, was out delivering sandwiches at around 8am on Friday morning in Mexborough, Rotheram. But his delivery route produced a pretty surprising twist when he came across some poor fella who'd got stuck in the clothes bin.

In the video, you can hear a mystified Ashley say 'What the...' as he drives past, before asking if the man's alright.

Ashley explained: "As I was driving down the road I thought I saw a pair of legs hanging out of the clothes bin. I wasn't sure but as I got closer I realised I was right.

"I asked him if we was alright. His reply was 'Am sound me pal' and then I said 'You sure?' he replied 'Yeah'.

"I'm not sure if he got out, but I'm guessing he did."

Many social media users have been speculating about the identity of the man, with some wondering if it was a well-known local figure.

One wrote: "I wonder if it's the dancing man who goes in it all the time?"

Another said: "Hahaha it's got to be him! Bless him, hope he wasn't stuck like that too long."

Another commented to say that it wasn't such a strange thing to see in Rotheram, joking: "My mate says he does it all time".

We're just hoping he made it out okay, to be honest.

While Ashley found a man stuck in a recycling bin, someone else recently found something decidedly more rank.

Gorgeous Nightclub in Wolverhampton launched an appeal to find the owner of a pair of lacy red pants that staff had found after a Saturday night.

The red thong was discovered by a member of staff, who then brought them to the attention of the management - who are now trying to return them to their rightful owner.

The club posted a picture on Facebook that showed the pants, saying: "Lost & Found. We have had these pair of beauties left in the club last night and would love to reunite them with their owner.

"We understand that it's been warm, and you may have removed them for a bit of air conditioning. With summertime coming to an end we would hate for you to get a chill.

"Pop in and claim them during opening hours or message our Facebook page."

Grim.
