Harry and Meghan welcomed a baby boy into the world earlier today - great news for them, but potentially even better for you, for while they've got to worry about nappies and vomit, it's your opportunity to make some money.

Bookies have offered their latest odds on what the new Royal will be called.

According to Ladbrokes, Arthur is leading the way at 5/1, with Albert and Phillip coming in just behind at 6/1.

Further down the list are James at 8/1 and both Alexander and Alfred on for 10/1.

Thomas is on the market for 12/1, with Spencer at 14/1. But if you fancy slighter longer odds, Charles, Edward and Henry are all being offered at 16/1.

The brilliant news was announced in a statement from Buckingham Palace's Instagram page earlier today.

It said: "We are pleased to announce that Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Sussex welcomed their firstborn child in the early morning on May 6th, 2019. Their Royal Highnesses' son weighs 7lbs. 3oz.

"The Duchess and baby are both healthy and well, and the couple thank members of the public for their shared excitement and support during this very special time in their lives. More details will be shared in the forthcoming days.

Prince Harry was almost in tears as he spoke to press about the birth of his first child.

In an unusual turn of events, Prince Harry came out and spoke to a horde of press outside Frogmore Cottage.

Speaking about the birth, he praised his 'incredible' wife.

He said: "I'm very excited to announce that Meghan and myself had a baby boy earlier this morning, a very healthy boy. Mother and baby are doing incredibly well. It's been the most amazing experience I could ever have possibly imagined.

"How any woman does what they do is beyond comprehension, but we're both absolutely thrilled and so grateful for all the love and support from everybody out there. It's been amazing, so I just wanted to share this with everybody."

He added: "I haven't been in many births, this is definitely my first birth! But it was amazing, absolutely incredible, and as I said, I'm so incredibly proud of my wife.

"As every father and parent would say, your baby is absolutely amazing. But this little thing is absolutely to die for, so I'm just over the moon."
