Don't Worry, The Weather Is Going To Be Nice Tomorrow Too

Don't Worry, The Weather Is Going To Be Nice Tomorrow Too

You know what that means...

Hey, as you've probably noticed, there is a large and unusual yellow ball smouldering away in the skies. Yep, we can all see it too. It's called the Sun, and you may remember it from last year.

Cast your mind back seven or eight months - football was coming home (it didn't), getting drunk in the middle of the day was acceptable (it wasn't), and we were all given over to periods of unnatural, relentless optimism.

Amazing how things can change in such a short space of time, isn't it?

Anyway, we digress. The good weather is back! In February! Lucky us, eh?

Well, lucky for those of us who don't have to work. Many of us are still forced to sit inside, staring longingly out of the windows because the first decent weather of the year has happened on a Friday.

Classic, the hottest February day in ages, and we're all cooped up indoors.

Fear not, though. Tomorrow is supposed to be as nice as today! In fact, it might be even nicer. In actual fact, it looks as if the UK might be even hotter than Barcelona this weekend, where it will only be a piddly 17C. That's quite something.

With temperatures of around 18C possible, we could have a distinctly Mediterranean flavour to our February weekend in store.

Earlier in the week, Met Office forecaster Bonnie Diamond told us: "What we've got already has been mild for February, with temperatures around 10 to 12C today.

"For the rest of the week, temperatures will steadily build, with a body of high pressure moving over from the continent.

"Wind is coming from a south-south-westerly direction, which is generally quite mild, and we'll have a lot of sunshine and warmth.

"That combination means we're looking at temperatures around 17 or even 18C in some parts of the UK. The warmest February day on record was 19.7C, and there's a possibility that could be reached by Friday or Saturday.

"We might see some places come close but that depends on the amount of sunshine. It will be 16 or 17C in London, and we could see an extra degree depending on the sunshine."

Scorchio!

You know what that means. Beer gardens, folks. Get out there. On top of that, there is some rugby on - I believe - for those of you who wear blazers with salmon polo shirts and brown brogues. What fun.

Oh, and it's United vs Liverpool on Sunday.

If that isn't enough to propel you through this final stretch of boring weekday into the long, sunny weekend, then there is no hope for you.

Get 'em in.

I mean, this is clearly a sign that the Earth is warming up and the apocalypse beckons, so we might as well have a cold glass of beer before the seas boil.

Happy Friday, everyone!
