It's the dream, isn't it? You get your weekly lottery ticket, you win £71,000, you decide what to spend it on. But then, hold on, you count those zeros and you've missed a few off - you've actually won quite a bit more...

Ade Goodchild won the Euromillions jackpot.

Ade Goodchild, 58, has claimed an unreal £71,057,439 prize after Friday's EuroMillions draw, and he celebrated in the only way a new millionaire should celebrate - with spicy chicken wings, a takeaway pizza and some bevvies in front of the Wales v Ireland rugby match on the TV.

Having scooped the 15th biggest lottery win in UK history, Ade, a factory worker from Hereford, has been having a little think about his big win - which will no doubt change his entire life forever.

Speaking in a press conference, he said: "I'm not one of these winners who is going to say this win won't change me. It bloody well will, or at least I'll give it a damn good go!"

I like his honesty.

Mr Goodchild added: "There'll be no more shift work for me. I want to travel, find myself a lovely new home, go to top sporting events, and try many other things besides."

Going in to detail about the moment he realised he'd won, he said he heard the 'ping' noise on the National Lottery app - which signifies you've won something - but didn't even realise it was the jackpot at first.

He explained: "It gave me the winning 'ping' sound and I thought I might have won a fiver or something, but when I checked I thought 'hang on, it looks like I've won £71,000'.

"I put my glasses on to double check and then spotted that it was the jackpot prize and that all my numbers were circled. I thought 'wow, a lot of people have shared the jackpot this week - but fair play'.

"Then I read the prize amount again and realised that it was actually £71million and just one winner, me! It was then that I called my mum and dad. Their reaction was one of complete shock. I still don't think it's sunk in for them."

Looks like money really can buy happiness.

As well as sorting out his family with some of his winnings, Ade has already decided he wants a swish new house, a Jacuzzi and to go to the Grand Canyon and the Pyramids with his winnings.

He also wants a few 'staff' to help him tend to his new amazing pad. Who can blame him now he's a complete baller?

I'm off to put the lottery on...
