​Gran Spotted Dancing On Man’s Shoulders At Lewis Capaldi Show

'Alex From Glastonbury' rapping flawlessly and Harry Redknapp singing along to DJ Luck and MC Neat may have provided some firm highlights for this summer, but now we've got a new MVP of this year's festival season... and she's 82.

You probably thought you had the best time ever at whichever festival you chose to grace with your presence, having slapped yourself in glitter and sipped away on warm cider as the sun beamed down. Absolute bliss, right?

But that's nothing compared to this OAP, who was filmed dancing on a bloke's shoulders during Lewis Capaldi's set at TRNSMT in Glasgow on 14 July.

Singing away to Capldi's 'Maybe' with her arms outstretched, she honestly looks like she's having the time of her life.

The absolute legend was spotted in the crowd by fellow festivalgoer Cian McGivern, who shared a short clip of her dancing away Twitter, writing: "Highlight of @TRNSMTfest during @LewisCapaldi. What a f***ing woman."

In a later tweet, he added: "One of the best things I've ever witnessed."

The tweet has since racked up more than 10,000 likes and 1,000 retweets, and has even been shared by Capaldi himself, who wrote: "F***ing love this," followed by a heart emoji.

Someone has now also commented claiming that the unnamed woman in the video is her gran, who she said had a whale of a time.

"That's my gran," she said.

"Thanks for capturing it! She had an absolute ball!"

Honestly, if I have half as much energy as she has by the time I reach her age, I'll be absolutely chuffed.

Twitter users can't get enough of the fun-loving grandma, with one writing: "Can't stop watching this. This is what life is about. Our physical bodies age but our heart never does."

Someone else wrote: "Never too old to have a good time, good on her."

Another said: "My children better get ready for when I'm like that I promise you - she absolutely rocks!!!"

A fourth simply wrote: "Music has no age."

I never thought someone could upstage Lewis Capaldi - or that it would be an 82-year-old woman - but here we are. Bravo, lady.
