Would you pay nearly £1m to live in a shed? No? Well, perhaps we've got a property that might make you rethink that.

An old grain shed in Norfolk has been transformed into a luxury home by a developer called Rob Lond-Caulk.

Lond-Caulk has taken the beaten-up old building and turned it into a home with four en-suite bedrooms, three reception rooms, a state of the art kitchen, underfloor heating and a balcony with fantastic views.

Oh yeah, and it's got a cinema room.

Still think you're not interested?

The house is in the South Norfolk village of Great Ellingham and took Lond-Caulk about a year and a half to convert into the luxury property that it is today.

Before that it was standing in a field in a state of disrepair, being used only to store grain to feed animals.

If you've got the readies to buy it, you also get about an acre of garden into the bargain, which means you've got a sizeable chunk of rural Norfolk to roam about in too.

You can buy the whole field - which is about 17 acres round the back of the house - but you'd have to do another deal for that.

If by some unlikely chance you're very wealthy person who needs to work in a big city, this house has got you covered. The village is pretty close to the A11, so you can easily commute to Cambridge or London.

But let's face it, you're gonna have to be getting paid quite a lot to afford this gaff.

The house is on sale through estate agents William H Brown Select and they will entertain any offers upwards of £975,000 ($1.3 million).

That might seem like a lot (and it is) but if you can afford it, you'll get a whole load of house for your money.

Property expert Caroline Culot said: "Rob Lond-Caulk is just as good a magician as he is a developer.

"He took a building with nothing going for it at all except its location and created this magnificent new home which boasts a fantastic view from its master bedroom and balcony.

"Yes, it's a big price tag, but you get more than 4000 square feet of accommodation in a beautiful location, on the edge of a village yet with land as far as the eye can see."

Not bad when you consider it used to be a shed that probably smelled quite badly of animals.
