Buckingham Palace has announced that Prince Harry has become the Duke of Sussex. Meghan will also become the first Duchess of Sussex when she marries Harry.
A statement from the palace said: "The Queen has today been pleased to confer a Dukedom on Prince Henry of Wales. His titles will be Duke of Sussex, Earl of Dumbarton and Baron Kilkeel.
Prince Harry thus becomes His Royal Highness The Duke of Sussex, and Ms. Meghan Markle on marriage will become Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Sussex."
When Prince William married Kate Middleton they became the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.
Prince Harry revealed that he proposed to Meghan Markle while roasting a chicken - which is, frankly, a lovely way to get engaged.
The couple, who have been seeing each other since last summer, discussed Harry's proposal in their first ever joint interview today.
"It happened a few weeks ago, earlier this month, here at our cottage; just a standard typical night for us," Prince Harry told the BBC:
Meghan explained that the couple were having a 'cosy night in', adding: "[We were] trying to roast a chicken and it was just an amazing surprise, it was so sweet and natural and very romantic. He got on one knee."
According to Harry, the pair hugged straight after Prince Harry offered the Suits actor his hand in marriage.
However, 36-year-old Meghan was so excited Harry had to remind her to take the ring he was holding. Smooth going all round then.
Prince Harry said: "She didn't even let me finish! She said, 'Can I say yes? Can I say yes?' and then there were hugs and I had the ring in my finger and I was like, 'Can I... Can I give you the ring?' She goes, 'Oh yes, the ring!'
"It was a really nice moment, it was just the two of us and I think [I] managed to catch her by surprise as well."
The prince also proposed with a ring that he designed himself as a tribute to his late mother, Diana, Princess Of Wales.
The classy gold band, which was made by Cleave and Company, Court Jewellers and Medallists to Her Majesty The Queen, is embedded with three diamonds.
The largest one was sourced from Botswana, but the other two smaller diamonds were taken from Diana's personal collection of jewels. That heartbreaking connection probably makes the ring's value priceless, too.
Both the prince and his fiancée also have connections to Botswana. It's somewhere that Prince Harry has visited many times since he was a child, but also a place that the couple have spent time together in the past year and a half.
