Prince Harry Gets Upstaged By Newsreader In Front Of Meghan

You'd think with him being an actual prince it'd be difficult to upstage Prince Harry, but one Aussie newsreader managed it today.

As Harry and wife Meghan continue their tour of Australia, the couple were out greeting crowds of people and amongst those gathered was newsreader Matt de Groot, holding a massive bouquet of flowers - reportedly worth £270.

Clocking the huge bunch of flowers, Harry walked over told the man: "You can't give flowers that big to my wife!

"What's that all about?"

I dare say poor Matt shit himself, thinking he was about to get thrown in the London dungeon, but the crowds of onlookers began laughing and a smiling Prince Harry shook him by the hand.

The ginger prince has got a smile to about, with the happy news that he and Meghan are expecting their first child.

Kensington Palace shared the news yesterday, revealing that the couple are due to welcome the baby in spring next year.

The newly-weds are said to have told the Royal Family the happy news at Princess Eugenie's wedding on Friday, which some have said was poor form and accused the couple of 'stealing her thunder'.

BBC's royal correspondent Jonny Dymond, said: "The Queen was told, the Duke of Edinburgh, the Prince of Wales, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, the Duchess of Cornwall - they chose that day to spread the happy news around and then recover and relax, get on a plane and then put out the news for the rest of us."

The baby will be seventh-in-line to the throne.

And, naturally, people are already speculating on what the baby might be called, despite not even knowing the gender.

So far, front runners from Ladbrooks are Victoria, Albert, Elizabeth, Arthur, Diana and Philip.

Jessica Bridge from Ladbrokes told LADbible: "Given this child will be in line to the throne, it's probably a safe assumption that the couple will opt for a regal name that has been used in the royal family over the generations.

She added: "However, with Meghan's USA roots it would be remiss of bookmakers to rule out an American moniker featuring somewhere."

If you fancy throwing some money away, you can bet on a bonny Prince Barry being born next spring for 1/150.
