Remember the retired vicar who was dumped by his twenty-something husband and left homeless?

Well he's taken the toyboy back and says he doesn't care if he sleeps with other men.

Philip Clements, 80, has revealed that he and beau, Florin Marin, have rekindled their love and says they are stronger than before, despite their split last year.

The couple who met on dating app, Gaydar, and spoke to the Sun about their love for each other.

Philip said: "I love him to bits. Sometimes we have a little row but underlying it all I have a deep affection for him.

"If we were permanently separated, I would be the most unhappy person in the world."

Florin then told the paper he thought Philip was 'a nice' and 'lovely'.

Philip married the man 55 years his junior in April 2017, and shortly after he sold his house, moving with his new husband to his mother country, Romania, where they lived in Bucharest.

However, cracks started when the pair began arguing over Florin's party lifestyle - the couple even went on The Jeremy Kyle Show to talk about their problems.

But despite going their separate ways the pair are now back together.

Philip said: "When I was separated from him, and in times past, I virtually had a depressive breakdown because I missed him.

"It was like losing an arm or a leg. I knew for certain that I needed him.

"You can't explain these things scientifically."

Though they are back together they currently have a long distance relationship, as Florin works in Spain.

Florin said: "Now it's much better than in the past."

"Philip had to change from the beginning to understand more my culture, from where I come from, how I am... all this stuff.

The age gap between Florin and Philip is 25 years.

"Sometimes he doesn't understand the culture - he's English, I'm Romanian, I have my manners, he has his manners.

"We don't think the same."

Philip added: "That's what makes our relationship so special - he is different."

Another thing that makes their relationship different is that Florin is allowed to see other men.

Philip said "We have agreed as part of our agreement as an open relationship, if we have a serious relationship, we will tell each other.

"I would be a little bit jealous I have to admit. That other chap, who doesn't exist at the moment, is getting more of what I should be enjoying."

And though it can be difficult at times, they both want to make it work.

He added: "We have spoken about divorce, but in my heart of hearts I don't want a divorce."

Philip says they have an open relationship and Florin can sleep with other men.

Philip, who is no longer speaks to his brothers as a result of the marriage, said that despite being engaged to a woman at one time in his life, he always knew he was gay.

And after staying celibate for 60 years while a man of the cloth, he eventually decided to take the leap and look for love, and met the young Florin on the gay dating app.

However, now living in different countries, the couple says they have yet another hurdle to face.

Florin said: "First I want to see what happens with Brexit. In this country, I don't have rights.

"Because of that, I want to wait first, to see past March 2019, to see what's going on with this country.

"If everything goes well, I will come back to England. If not, no."

With numerous articles and tv shows, there has been an incredible amount of interest in their relationship, with Florin being labelled a 'gold digger'.

The aspiring model said: "I don't care what people say. They have never met me.

"I like the publicity all the time, actually I will die if I'm not once a month on TV.

"I like the name (gold digger) but not what it means."

And with the clear age gap, Florin said a time may come when he has to take care of Philip, and says he's ready to do it.

He said: "Looking after him in case of something being wrong with him - oh yeah of course.

Philip added: "We haven't bought the wheelchair, it's only a matter of time that he's pushing me in a wheelchair."

Florin added: "No, you buy an electric one."
