As if one wasn't enough, now Princess Eugenie - who is eighth in line to the throne - is to be wed in autumn 2018 to Jack Brooksbank.

If you are a fan of royal weddings, cheering at people in big cars, and miniature British flags, your Monday morning is about to get one hell of a lot better.

It turns out that on top of the bonanza of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's upcoming wedding there will be another royal celebration later in the year.

Excited? You should be. The Royal Family has announced that Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank are to be wed at some point in the autumn of this year.

The pair became engaged earlier this month whilst on a trip to Nicaragua and their wedding will take place at the very same place as Harry and Meghan's wedding, which is on May 19th in St George's Chapel, Windsor.

The engagement was also announced on Twitter by Eugenie's father, Prince Andrew.

Sharing a picture of the two on Twitter, Andy said: "The Duke and Duchess of York are delighted to announce the engagement of Princess Eugenie to Mr Jack Brooksbank. The couple got engaged in Nicaragua earlier this month and will be married at St George's Chapel, Windsor, in autumn 2018."

The couple have been together for more than six years after having met on a skiing holiday to Verbier in Switzerland (which must be basically like Tinder for the upper classes).

It's not all been plain sailing, though. They have had to live apart for a long while after Eugenie moved to Manhattan to work for online auction house Paddle8. She has since moved back to London, which is great for Jack, who is the manager of Mayfair nightclub Mahiki.

Despite Jack and 'Genie' having been together since 2010, their engagement might have come as a surprise to some - notably the Princesses mum, Sarah Ferguson.

Only last year a spokesperson for the former Duchess of York said that stories reporting that they were to marry were not true.

So where does this leave the royal family? Well, very little changes with regards to the succession of the throne. Something would have to go drastically wrong at Harry's wedding for her to become queen.

Still, it's all very exciting though, right?

Well, at least you might be able to afford to travel to this one - and why wouldn't you, eh?

It has been reported that rooms in Windsor for the weekend of the wedding are going for around £15,000 ($21,000) to people who want to be a (very small) part of the special day.

At least they're bringing some tourists over. Hurrah for our glorious royal overlords!
