Is This The Most Brutal MMA KO Ever? We Think So

What's that flying through the air? Is it a bird? Is it a plane? Or is it a tooth? Yep, that's most definitely a tooth. And one of the most savage KOs we've ever seen. Watch it here:

In Samuel Ilnicki's MMA bout against Solomon Rogers on Golden Ticket Fight Promotions, Ilnickie kicked his opponent in the face so hard that not only did one of his teeth fly out of his mouth, but his body literally froze.

He then tumbled forward and face-planted the floor, as Ilnicki watched on with mild terror, probably wondering if his devastating kick had actually killed Rogers. Thankfully, he hadn't, but for those first few seconds you can practically see the possibility whirl around his mind.

In fact, so definitive and powerful was the blow - and so scary its result - that Ilnicki also froze after the fact. And we can bet it happened in much slower motion than the replays of the vicious strike.

What's sad, however, is that this was Rogers' first ever MMA appearance, and while we wish him a speedy recovery and the best of luck for the future, we don't blame him if he never wants to set foot inside a ring again. We bloody wouldn't.

With the footage going viral, the bout in question is sure to give Golden Ticket Fight Promotions - which started life in Wolverhampton in 2009 - something of a rise in profile. Which, when it comes down to it, is what every promoter secretly wants.

It's not the only savage knockout we've ever seen but it really does rank high up there.
