What a difference a day makes when it comes to the price of Easter eggs, with supermarkets reducing the price of their holiday themed chocolate - some of which are going for as little as 25p.

Although, obviously, we know that the chocolate used in Easter eggs is the exact same as all other chocolate, there's something that just feels a bit wrong about eating them out of season. For this much of a bargain though, I think it's something we can get past.

Bargain hunters have clocked Easter chocolate at massive bargains in supermarkets around the country, with Morrisons, Asda, B&M and Sainsbury's all selling them off at super low prices so they don't have them cluttering the shop up.

Some retailers are only offering deals in store, while others have them online too.

One of the biggest bargains that's been spotted so far is in Asda and Morrisons, both of which are selling an extra-large Easter egg that originally went for £10 for just £2, or a normal full size one for 50p.

Both also have single Cadbury Creme Eggs for 25p.

B&M have a range of Easter treats on offer, with their Giant Incredible eggs including Yorkie Raisin and Biscuit and Smarties. These are on offer in store for 2 for £4.99, down from £7.99 each.

Sainsbury's are offering 12 Creme Eggs for £2.

If leaving the house for your Easter bargains isn't appealing, you can get some of them online, including the Galaxy Chocolate Golden Eggs Easter Sharing Pouch from Morrisons, which is down to £2 from £4, while Sainsbury's have Terry's Chocolate Oranges for £1.

Another post Easter bargain that's worth checking out is Lindt's online sale. The quality confectioners have some massive deals on their website, with 50 per cent off all their Easter themed chocolate.

Thorntons and Hotel Chocolat are also offering discounts on their products.

This year, in true 2019 style, we've been subjected to a whole load of weird Easter treats. There were the new Marmite flavoured eggs (vom) and also Jagermeister's attempt at Easter, which involved a weird, creamy alcohol filling.

Most disturbingly though, we have seen these Creme Egg flavoured fudge sweets, which are shaped into vaginas. Of course, these delightful creations are called Fudginas, and can be ordered online and sent to a fudge/vagina loving friend.
