What you do for fun in your free time is a matter of personal preference. Some read, some play sports, others listen to music... and lots of people at the moment like paying somebody to lock them in a room, so that they can then escape from it.
Another thing that lots of people are into is Peaky Blinders, and as such, maybe we shouldn't be surprised to learn that a Peaky Blinders escape room is coming to the UK - which unsurprisingly, will be the first of its kind in the world.
Fittingly, it will open in Birmingham, where the Shelbys of course hail from.

It is being created by Escape Live and will launch in 'early summer', which presumably means pretty soon.
As to what exactly the experience will entail is not clear; hopefully failure to escape won't be punishable by a hat-based blinding.
Jas Sodhi, Escape Live's Managing Director, said it was only right that the experience was made available in Birmingham first, however, there are plans to eventually expand it across the country.

According to Insider, he said: "This is fantastic news for Peaky Blinders fans everywhere and we're looking forward to re-imagining this international drama phenomenon into a number of escape experiences.
"The first rooms will be coming to Birmingham soon and we can't wait for fans of the series to see what we have planned.
"We have acquired a new property which will be the home of the new experiences and we believe the character of that building fits the series perfectly.
"Peaky Blinders has been enjoyed by millions of viewers across the world, but it is only right that these experiences are brought to Birmingham first.

"We are working closely with Endemol Shine Group to develop content for the rooms and will be revealing more details over the next couple of months."
Jane Smith, Director of Brand Licensing & Strategy for Endemol Shine Group, added: "There is a huge appetite from audiences to take part in experiences based on the series and it is key for us to ensure that the official products and events live up to fans expectations.
"We are delighted to have teamed up with the experienced team at Escape Live who will bring the Peaky Blinders series to life and deliver an outstanding experience which will really wow players."

Jane ain't wrong, there already Peaky Blinders-themed bars across the country, as well as alcoholic beverages and an upcoming virtual reality game.
Meanwhile, season five has finished shooting and will air later this year.
