Shocked Golfers Find Topless Man 'Having Sex With Ninth Hole'

The men filmed the bizarre incident yesterday

Author H. S. Scrivener once wrote: 'to play golf is to spoil an otherwise enjoyable walk', so quite what old Scrivener would have made of stumbling upon this particular scene is anyone's guess.

A bunch of golfers out for the day on bank holiday Monday came across a topless man apparently 'having sex' with the ninth hole and doing...something with the flag.

The shocked golfers filmed the incident at Brackenwood Golf Course in Bebington, Merseyside and uploaded it to social media.

In the footage, the man can be seen lying down, topless, with trousers pulled down as the men look on in shock. After a minute or so he gets up, puts the flag back in the hole and gets up. He then pulls his kecks back up and walks off.

In the clip, Steven Gayton, who filmed the scene, can be heard saying: "Bagsy ain't picking that flag out the hole."

Speaking after the event, Steven said: "He was on his own and it looked like he was doing it for a kick and filming himself doing it.

"It's the weirdest thing I've ever had the misfortune to see.

"I don't think he was drunk because he was filming himself. There was only me and three other friends on the course.

"I think he thought he was all alone and when he realised we had spotted him he was not bothered. Scary to think that there are a lot of kids around that area.

"Very strange. Who knows what goes through people's heads. That's definitely a game of golf I will never forget."

Steven went on to say that he doesn't think the golf course has CCTV, musing that perhaps that was why the man chose that spot.

"All I can say is if my ball ever goes in the ninth hole at Brackenwood, it can stay there," he said.
