A 76-year-old says she's 'never been so angry' after being left waiting two months for a new sofa - which either says a lot about the laid-back sort of person she is, or illustrates the rage-inducing frustration of waiting for a new couch.
Gillian Griffin, from Hull, says she is forced to sit on a dining chair in her bare living room and is unable to relax while watching the telly - not ideal when you fancy a Netflix true-crime binge.
The great-grandmother bought a £900 ($1,200) suite from Harveys Furniture, which included a £50 ($70) delivery fee, shortly before moving into her new home all the way back in January. But now Mrs Griffin fears her couch might be lost and has branded the company a 'disgrace'.

Speaking to Hull Live, she said: "We went into Harveys and found a nice settee and armchair which I ordered and paid for there, thinking I would get it in a couple of weeks.
"They said it would take six weeks, so I thought, 'Fair enough, I've paid for it so now I'll have to wait.'
"But now it seems like I've been waiting forever. Last Saturday I got a text saying it would definitely be delivered on Monday - so I sat there from 6am to 1pm because I wanted to make sure I wouldn't miss it.
"I sat in the front room where I can see the world, and nobody turned up. I rang them and they were full of excuses. First of all, they said it had been taken off the lorry and then they said it had been lost.

"I couldn't get any sense out of them and they didn't know what they were doing. I just think it's disgraceful."
Harveys Furniture then told Mrs Griffin they'd have to arrange a new date to deliver the item, but in the meantime she's grown sick of having to sit on an old wooden dining chair which leaves her with pain in her back.
She added: "It's an upright chair and I didn't bring my old furniture with me because I thought I would be getting a new three-piece, so now I'm just sat on this dining room chair.
"When you're sat there watching the TV, your back starts aching after 15 minutes. It's old fashioned and quite comfy but only for 15 minutes. You can't sit and watch a whole programme on it.

"I miss lounging about on a sofa. It does put you down in the dumps because when you go out and come home, you expect to sit in comfort.
"When you haven't got anywhere to sit, it's not very nice.
"I can't do anything or organise the furniture in the lounge until I've got this three-piece.
"I've got a nice little home but it's not organised."
And Mrs Griffin is absolutely raging, adding: "It's a strange feeling and I've never been so angry."

In a statement, Harveys Furniture told Hull Live: "At Harveys we take customer service very seriously and always aim to make our customers happy.
"We were very sorry to hear about the delays with Gillian Griffin's order, and we have prioritised her order to ensure we can provide the earliest possible delivery date of her sofa."
