Not everyone is in love with Christmas lights, but one woman hated her neighbours' so much she risked getting electrocuted in order to turn the damn things off.
Dan Hubbert, from Hull, was going through his home CCTV footage when he spotted the old lady walk onto his property and cut the flashing Christmas lights wrapped around the tree in his garden.

He posted the comment: "So it turns out some old gal doesn't like my Christmas lights... What should I do? Ring the old bill or let her go free?"
He may have been torn there, but he was sure about one thing - post it on Facebook for the world to enjoy.
That means we can all see the bizarre moment the woman shuffled onto his garden in the dead of night to commit an act of vandalism - because, let's be honest, that's exactly what it is, even if it is pretty hilarious.
In the video the woman hobbles up to the tree, proceeds to grab one of the wires, cut into it and let it drop to the ground. Since then, Dan said many people have called for him to report his neighbour to the police.

He told the Hull Daily Mail: "Everyone wants me to ring the police on her. She should pay for them. If it was youths, I would've been straight on the blower to the police but she's old.
"It could have caused an electrical fault or even electrocuted herself. You can't start going across the road and chopping down lights. I think I will call 101 and get them to go and have a word."
Even with the festive drama the 41-year-old dad-of-two admitted though he would need to fork out another £20 to replace the lights, he isn't all that bothered and finds it a bit comical.
He said: "I'm not that bothered really. I'm trying to find the funny side. (My children) just think it's funny as well. It is quite funny to see her toddle along and cut them."

The identity of the vandal hasn't been confirmed, but Dan added in if his neighbour had spoken to him prior to the incident, explaining the lights were causing issues for her, he would've taken them down or turned them off at night.
All she needs is a green furry suit and a dog...
