A YouTuber, whose pranks have included breaking into the Big Brother house and Thorpe Park, fooled the internet when he claimed to be the guy behind the drone chaos that brought Gatwick Airport to a standstill.

Prankster Ally Law led his 209,000 Instagram followers to believe that he was the pilot of the drone that brought Gatwick Airport to a standstill yesterday causing people's flights to be suspended and cancelled.

He posted on to his Instagram story saying: "New video soon 'flying a drone over Gatwick airport *The army came*'."

The claims made by Law came just hours after he had denied being the pilot on Twitter, having posted at around 10pm: "I can confirm guys.. it was not me who was flying a drone at Gatwick airport today!! A looooooot of people are thinking its me haha."

Make yer mind up, won't you?

Ally Law claimed that he was the man behind the drone chaos at Gatwick airport, hours after telling followers that he was NOT the pilot.

The 21-year-old from Southampton, was handed a criminal behaviour order banning him from theme parks and TV studios across Britain.

Following his outbursts, that he was in fact the pilot, the MailOnline revealed that the aerial photograph he used to accompany the claims was actually of Sussex Airport which was used in a BBC news report six months ago.
