The daughter of a patient at the Gainesville After Hours Clinic managed to film the moment a doctor shouted in her mum's face in the waiting room.
Jessica Stipe arrived at the clinic for her 6.30pm appointment, although she was allegedly hurriedly seen for a urine sample before having to wait until 7.45pm to speak to the doctor again.
She claims she was 'severely sick' and 'throwing up in the trash can' but in her opinion had waited too long to be seen. She confronted Dr. Peter Gallogly, saying that the hour and 15 minutes she had been waiting was not good enough, which touched a nerve...

Stipe says: "I've specifically asked this lady to let people know that even if they get an appointment they may not be seen in a timely manner."
Before she could continue, the doc fires back by saying 'are you kidding me?' before launching into a rant.
"Do you know how many people are here? I've got seven rooms back there," he says. "It's 7.45 and we've already been working on you. I've done a urine test on you, I've seen you. Does that take three seconds, do you think? Do you want to be seen or not?"
After that the patient replies saying that she wants to go home to bed, to which Gallogly obliges and says "that's fine, then get the hell out. Get the fuck out of my office."

Her daughter pipes up, telling the doctor to get out of her mother's face and telling him that it's all on video.
Enraged by her comments, Gallogly grabs her phone and tries to walk off with it, presumably to try to delete the footage.

He has since released a statement to CBS, saying: "Ms. Stipe had been increasingly belligerent and abusive to the office staff, cursing and threatening them with violence, because she was unwell and had been waiting to see me for more than an hour.
"I went to the front desk only because after Ms. Stipe received her refund, she refused to leave the office, and continued her abusive behavior towards staff.
"While not an excuse for my behavior, a basic reason for my reaction is that I simply regard my staff as family, and I overreacted to defend them."
He has also claimed that the clip 'was heavily edited and taken out of context'.

Despite his claims, Stipe is standing by her story, posting a Facebook status which aims to alert people in her community so that they don't receive the same treatment.
She wrote: "I'm severely sick and came to Gainesville after hours with a 6:30 appointment. By 7:45 was not seen still in severe pain and throwing up in the trash can. All they had me do was pee in a cup to see if I'm pregnant .... ummm I know I'm not ... I asked for my co pay back so I could leave and go back home to bed and try to be seen elsewhere tomorrow because I'm just that miserable that all I want is my bed.
"The Dr was mad I wanted my co pay back and was unhappy with having to wait so long and proceeded to cuss me out.

"My daughter recorded it because they were so rude. When he saw it was being recorded he snatched my baby's phone and shoved her when she tried to get it back.
"Gpd [Gainesville police department] is here now but says we can't press assault charges even though it's all on tape because she has no injury .. wtf .. he took her phone and shoved her she is a minor .... never go there for medical care."
According to The Gainesville Sun, a police investigation has been launched by Gainesville Police Department into his actions.
