Twitter Is Shook After Man Stands On Flight For Six Hours So Wife Can Lie Down

Some people have called it 'love' others have lost their minds and branded the wife 'selfish'

An image of a man standing on a plane has ruffled a few feathers on Twitter. You might think a guy standing up on a plane isn't really that interesting, because it's not.

But this fella was apparently stood for SIX HOURS while the woman he was with slept across the seats on the flight. I mean, 10/10 for selflessness but, seriously?!

The picture was shared on Twitter by a life coach who praised the man, writing: "This guy stood up the whole 6 hours so his wife could sleep. Now THAT is love." Well one thing's for sure - I never want to be in love...

People were shocked by what they saw.

Not everyone agreed with many saying that the woman was 'selfish', one even wrote that she is a 'terrible wife'. We don't even know whether they're married.

Someone else said: "She couldn't just lie across HIM?! I won't judge their marriage. My hubs is the kind of man who would do this for me, but I am not the kind of wife to ask this of him!"

Another added: "I can't let my man stand for even 10 minutes. I'd definitely be sleeping on his laps which would even be more comfortable. Or rest properly on the chair. Why would you let your man stand for 6 hours?"

Some questioned the authenticity, pointing out that airlines don't let people aimlessly stand in the aisles. One explained: "That's not love. Also which airline allows anyone to stand for 6 hours during a flight?"

The bloke apparently stood up for six hours.

"That is the ultimate love," someone else commented. "But with a little travel experience...you know to just lay in his lap and then he can lay his head on your hips. There's a formula lol.

"I've never been THAT in love...can't wait to be so in love that I even consider that an option lol". What a daft thing to say.

Others started to compare the situation to the infamous Titanic scene where Rose is lying on the chunk of door. There's enough room for Jack to join her and we all know what happens next.

The guy, who doesn't look that impressed (for obvious reasons), probably wasn't having as good a time as the couple that were filmed leaving the bathroom together on a United Airlines flight recently.

The pair were in the loo together leaving fellow passengers stood outside probably on the verge of bursting for ten minutes.
