Barack Obama's Former Photographer Trolls Donald Trump's 'Time' Claims

"Someone has a lot of catching up to do."

US President Donald Trump bigged himself up on Friday, claiming he had snubbed Time Magazine after they said they would only 'probably' name him their annual 'Person of the Year'.

Trump doesn't exactly have a lot to complain about, seeing as he's already been on the magazine's front cover 14 times, but unhappy that his victory wasn't a given, he said he turned them down for an interview.

He tweeted, saying: "Time Magazine called to say that I was PROBABLY going to be named "Man (Person) of the Year," like last year, but I would have to agree to an interview and a major photo shoot. I said probably is no good and took a pass. Thanks anyway!"

There was no shortage of people refusing to believe - and taking the piss out of - his claim, even Time magazine itself took to Twitter to shut down him down, citing its policy at not commenting on their choice for the award ahead of publication.

And, following the hoo-ha, Barack Obama's former White House photographer has gone ahead and trolled Trump on Instagram, saying the current President has 'a lot of catching up to do'. Ouch.

As you can see, Barack Obama is way ahead of Trump in the Time front cover stakes.

So far, the former President's face has adorned 22 different issues of the magazine, compared to Trump's 14.

Of course, Trump isn't a person who is used to losing, so you can guess how he might be feeling about this new... SAD!
