There's no denying that chicken nuggets are the best; however, when you're told you can't have any, it wouldn't be uncommon for a person to get mildly upset. While most would shed a small tear and move on, others take it to another level.
Meet Kole Olsen, a 30-year-old IT worker who went on a rampage when he was informed that he couldn't get chicken nuggets at a Sydney McDonald's at 5am on Remembrance Day. But if you're thinking he just yelled abuse at the staff and left in a huff, you'd be wrong, so very wrong.
After a night of partying, Olsen pulled up to a Maccas and ordered 200, yes two hundred, McNuggets, only to be told that they weren't available because they were currently serving the breakfast menu.
Kole then screamed: "I want my fucking nuggets... I'm gonna fuck you up."
He started beeping his horn and drove four laps around the drive thru and then decided that 200 hashbrowns was more appropriate. The 30-year-old forked out a whopping $230 for the order but kept up the verbal abuse until staff had to lock the restaurant doors out of fear.
Police were eventually called by a concerned employee, but before they arrived, Olsen was demanding a refund for his meal, however he couldn't remember what he ordered and claimed he originally asked for 200 large fries and then 200 Big Macs.
You literally couldn't make this shit up.
The IT worker was found behind the wheel in the McDonald's carpark and was arrested. He submitted to a breath test and it came back with 0.175, which is three and a half times the legal blood alcohol level.
To make matters even more bizarre, Mr Olsen told the court during his case that he is a vegan. It was also revealed that he already had been fined or arrested several times in the past for alcohol related offences.
At the Hornsby Local Court, Magistrate Daniel Reiss said Kole must have been on more than just alcohol however he wasn't requested to submit to other tests.
Kole has been sentenced to a one-year good behaviour bond and fined $1,000 for the Maccas rampage - all for the love of chicken nuggets, or hashbrowns, or large fries, or Big Macs, or whatever pops into his head next.
It would be impressive to see whether he could have actually polished off 200 of anything from Maccas. I guess we'll never know that outcome.
