Bad news guys - the Thai multimillionaire who offered £240,000 ($US315,000) to the man who marries his daughter has scrapped plans to go ahead with the 'tournament' because too many applied.
Well, things could have been worse we suppose - it could have been ditched because no one applied (which, on second thoughts, might have actually been more appealing).
Anont Rotthong, 58, owns a thriving durian fruit farm in Chumphon province, southern Thailand, which means he's more than just a bit wadded.

So he decided to take the minuscule matter of his daughter's future into his own hands - well, they do say money is power.
But now, according to the MailOnline, the farm owner has had to cancel his plans after 10,000 men came forward hoping to marry his 26-year-old daughter, Karnsita, who helps him run the family business.
Initially, Mr Rotthong planned to hold a three-month tournament at his farm in a bid to narrow down the quest. Shortly after he announced that he was 'dying' because his 'phone has been ringing off the hook' so the idea was scrubbed.

But, being a man who sticks to his word - Mr Rotthong has vowed to still honour his 'offer'.
He said: "Interested sons-in-law, please stop calling me. I'm dying because my phone has been ringing off the hook. Let me rest."
One of the potential hubby's pitched to the multimillionaire saying: "I'm interested. I am 28 years old. My family also grows durian in Trat province. We have over 300 trees ... I can weather the sun and the rain. I can drive a 10-wheel truck and tractor. Please consider me, father Anont. Thank you."

He can't possibly turn down 300 trees now, can he? Well, it looks like he can because Mr Rotthong said that the man in question is 'too handsome' and could end up breaking his daughter's heart.
As well as the offer of 10 million Thai baht (£240,000) the farm owner will also gift his future son-in-law his huge durian farm, which is the biggest in the area and valued at several million pounds.
He said: "I want someone to take care of my business and make it last. I don't want a person with a bachelor's, or master's or philosopher's degree.

"I want a diligent man. I just want someone with a hard-working attitude. That's all."
Karnsita - who speaks English and Chinese fluently and has never had a boyfriend - confirmed that she is still single, and has been overwhelmed by all the attention from her father's public offer.
Funnily enough, Karnsita admits she was a bit 'surprised' when she found out what her father had done, having been told about his plan by friends.

She added: "I first found out about my father's post when my friend's showed me. I was surprised but I can see the funny side to it, too."
Yeah, I'd be laughing my socks off too.
