If you're a Bonnie Tyler fan, listen up. The rest of you can listen now as well.

Bonnie might not be enjoying the same widespread fame and adoration that she once had - well, unless you work in a karaoke bar, in which case it probably seems like she's as popular as ever - but if there was ever a move that could get her back to the heady heights of the early 80s, this is it.

Our Bonnie is going to sing Total Eclipse of the Heart, during a total eclipse, on a cruise ship. If you'd like that repeating:

Bonnie. Tyler. Is. Going. To. Sing. Total. Eclipse. Of. The. Heart. During. A. Total. Bloody. Eclipse.

It's the dictionary definition of epic.

Bonnie - most recently seen failing massively at the Eurovision Song Contest back in 2013 - will form the centrepiece of cruise liner company Royal Caribbean's Total Eclipse Cruise, which is specifically organised to catch the cosmic event when it sets of from Florida on Sunday.

The eclipse, which is expected to last for about two minutes and 40 seconds, will take place on August 21.

Stating the bloody obvious, Royal Caribbean International president and CEO Michael Bayley said: "Bonnie Tyler was a natural choice for this once-in-a-lifetime moment."

The Welsh songstress is not fazed by the idea of performing on the high seas. "I have a ship of my own. I go with the flow, darling. I'm not worried about things like that" the 'Holding Out For A Hero' signer told the BBC.

What's more, Bonnie will be backed by DNCE, who are fronted by ex-Jonas Brother (though, we presume, still brother of the other Jonases) Joe Jonas. They'll be there to celebrate their debut hit, 'Cake By The Ocean', which made the top ten in the United States and, as much as Bonnie's classic is perfect for a celestial alignment, seems well suited for decadently lounging about on a cruise ship.

The ship itself, the MS Oasis of the Seas, is not lacking for anything. The Finland-made vessel was the largest cruise ship in the world when it was made and is capable of carrying 6,000 passengers. It tops out at a length of 362 metres and a height of just over 72m from the water.

It boasts a casino, several nightclubs, countless bars and lounges as well as gyms, swimming pools, volleyball and basketball facilities spread across seven separate 'neighbourhoods'.

And yes, there is a karaoke bar, so when Bonnie is finished warbling out, you can go and have a go at those high notes for yourself.
