People Are Hearing Kim Jong-Un's 'Sexy' Voice For The First Time

Obviously, the meeting between Donald Trump and Kim Jong-un is historic and important, and we're not trying to take away from that... but everyone's losing their minds over Kim's sexy voice.

We don't often hear the North Korean dictator speak, probably because he usually relies on translators, but the videos from the Singapore Summit have sent Twitter into a spin.

His voice is more gravelly and husky than many people assumed it would be, with some even comparing him to Johnny Depp.

While Trump sounds like a man whose mouth is falling off, it turns out that his new buddy Kim's got quite the sexy voice.

"Just realized I've never actually heard Kim Jong-Un's voice," said one Twitter user. "He's a tenor, for the record."

Another added: "Am I the only person surprised that Kim Jong-un has a voice like Danny Dyer?" He was also compared to Barry White.

Some have called the first listen 'bizarre', while one person tweeted: "Kim Jong-Un's voice doesn't really match his face. Although I will say it's rather suitable for a brutal dictator."

General consensus would suggest we all assumed he'd have a squeaky, young voice.

Another person wrote, "Kim Jong Un's voice is WAAAAAAAAY lower than i imagined. I woulda bet my life he sounded like a mouse getting its balls squeezed."

It's really unusual to hear the voice of North Korean leaders at all - there was only one recording of Kim Jong-il - Kim Jong-un's father - and he only said one line.

The Korean peninsula's long been considered to be one of the most dangerous places on earth, but it's hoped that this meeting will ease tensions.

North Korea has now said it will de-nuclearise, and both sides have said they will work towards peace.

Kim Jong-un said, "Today we had a historic meeting and decided to leave the past behind and we are about to sign the historic document.

"The world will see a major change. I would like to express my gratitude to President Trump to make this meeting happen. Thank you."

The US President then thanked Kim Jong-un and reached out for a handshake.

While Trump has famously treated friendly handshakes like aggressive tugs-of-war in the past, this one seemed like much less of a power struggle. He even went so far as to give Kim Jong-un a friendly pat on the shoulder.

Blimey.
