A man who had a puppy thrown at him by a woman who was racially abusing him has adopted the poor dog and given it a new and happy home.

Rapper Glo Mula filmed the incident that took place in California on 9 October, so we know the basic facts of what happened.

The woman started shouting at him while Mula was just trying to get into his car.

She could be heard to say: "Mafia it's called the military of the United States of America, you're black."

After he took her to task about her racially charged language, she kept getting more and more agitated and eventually started to get physical.

Mula responded: "So what if I'm f***ing black? What's up?"

The woman then spat on the ground and said: "So what if I'm f***ing white?"

Mula then said: "I didn't say nothing about race you racist b***h. You're the one bringing up f***ing race."

Then, when Mula asked if the dog she'd been holding the whole time was hers, she proceeded to hurl the terrified creature through the air at him.

It let out a whimper and ran to stand by Mula's side. He grabbed the puppy and told her: "This is not your dog no more."

Then, the woman returned to tell him she has a mental health condition and accused him of stealing her dog.

Mula later shared the video on his social media channels, where it has been viewed more than 2.5 million times.

Sharing the video on Twitter, Mula wrote: "Idk what's goin on but I got a new dog."

So, at least something decent might have come from this incident. At least the dog has the chance to have a happy life, and not - you know - get chucked through the air at passersby.

He's called in Movie, by the way.

Glo Mula has now started a GoFundMe page for anyone who would like to contribute anything to the dog's care.

He's even started up an Instagram account for his new pup, which now has more than 224,000 followers.

Let's just hope that Movie the dog never gets thrown around in anger again.

LADbible has contacted the Los Angeles Police Department for a comment.
