Woman Found Husband After Three Years When She Saw Him In TikTok Video

For any faults you may think it has, social media is very often be used for good purposes. Hashtags are shared to encourage people to keep beaches clean and free of plastic, Paris Hilton was educated after she asked people on Twitter to tell her things she didn't know and one woman found her 'missing' fella on a TikTok video.

TikTok lets users create short videos with music and camera effects. They range from cringe and plain weird to pretty damn impressive and it's clear to see that it's popular with its users because it became the most downloaded iPhone app in the world.

With that comes the possibility of being able to find your missing husband like one woman did in Tamil Nadu, India.

According to Times of India, the woman called Jayapradha saw her 'lost' hubby following a three year search for him when he appeared in the background of a clip where he could be seen posing with another woman.

The New Indian Express named the man as Suresh and reported that he had left his wife and two children in Krishnagiri, Tamil Nadu, back in 2016.

His wife began searching for him and lodged an first information report with the local police station but the man was untraceable.

It turns out that the bloke had actually fled his house after getting angry with certain household issues, he moved to Hosur, Tamil Nadu, where he found a job as a mechanic and got into a new relationship with a transgender woman.

This was the same woman that was on the video which was seen by a relative of Jayapradha's who then confirmed that it was indeed her husband.

According to the Times of India, the Villupuram police were alerted and they traced Suresh in Hosur. In a statement obtained by the newspaper, a police officer said: "We traced them down with the help of the transgender association in Villupuram," before adding: "We have counselled Jayapradha and Suresh and have sent them back home."

In a statement obtained by The News Minute, Suresh agreed to go back to be with his wife and children.

The publication reports that the police said: "We asked him whether he wanted to go back to his wife and kids. He agreed to go back. Therefore, we sent the couple back."
