Women Charged After $600 Worth Of Dildos & Vibrators Were Stolen From Sex Toy Shop

Police have been on the hunt for two women accused of stealing AUD$600 (£330/$430) worth of sex toys from an adult super store. Well, if you're going to rob anything you might as well get pleasure from it...

The mystery ladies have now been charged by Western Australia Police Force after CCTV footage was shared by Libido Adult Super Store on their Facebook page.

There's nothing like being pictured and shamed, is there?

The women were accused of stealing the 'toys' at 12:10am on November 3.

One wore high-waisted lace trousers with what look like big black knickers underneath alongside what can only be described as a silk scarf covering her upper half.

The MailOnline reports that they allegedly removed packaging from four 'high-end' vibrators and left the store with the sex toys hidden in their clothing. At least they didn't hide them in the most obvious place.

The sex store owner, Garry Smith (sounds so common that it could be made up, doesn't it?) told the Daily Mail the women managed to take off with four of his best-selling vibrators.

If only they'd have taken the shit stuff, eh?

One of the toys, the 'Come Hither Rabbit' - which sounds anything but sexy - was valued at AUD$280 (£155/$200).

Mr Smith alleged that one woman initially entered the busy store alone and unboxed a vibrator while staff were busy with other customers.

He claims that she then left before returning with a friend to nab more items. He said CCTV footage shown to the police showed the pair grab three other vibrators, priced between AUD$85 (£47/$60) and AUD $140 (£77/$100) and take them into the dressing room.

They pair allegedly left the empty packaging in the changing room and left with the pricey products without the staff member noticing.

Why not just purchase a cheaper alternative that, arguably, would do the same thing but would mean you're a decent person who's just a little strapped for cash?

Smith was offering a AUD$50 (£27/$35) voucher to identify the women. Now, I'm not claiming to be an expert but that ain't getting you much - the incentive is still there though.

This isn't something that happens once in a blue moon as the store owner explained that every six months he loses around AUD$2,500 (£1,380/$1,790).

He explained: "It's just a constant issue for us. We have a lot of issues, because we are one of the few retailers on the street, we're open during night time to capture that passing trade."

Well, we got one thing from this - at least we know to avoid sex toy shops at peak time - which seems to be Saturday lunchtime... or is it the busier, the better because we're all in it together?
