An American designer is selling Prince Harry & Meghan Markle dolls on Etsy which are a bit different to how the couple look in reality

Rumour (made-up lie) has it that this is how Meghan Markle first got to know Prince Hazza. As the story goes, the Suits actor landed at a party in Ibiza in her very own McDonnell Douglas F-15 Eagle, got out, kicked ass for shits and giggles.

Her wanton display of aggression, it's believed, impressed the military-inclined prince so much that he fell head-over-heels in love with her. Suits you, sir.

None of the above is true, but when it comes to royalty, but it doesn't matter. There's a wedding afoot, and 'tis the season of fun, games and frivolity.

That seems to be how one US designer is approaching the festivities, with these wonderful Harry and Meghan dolls.

As reported in the Metro today, Shirley Corsey has launched two 18-inch dolls, which retail on Etsy for just £130 ($180), and come in 'full wedding attire'. Here is what Harry's 'full wedding attire' looks like.

Spot anything strange? That's right, Prince Harry is wearing blue shoes.

Some have pointed out that he's dressed like an ABBA tribute act pre-show, others have mentioned his Pat Jennings-like chestnut brown hair, but I personally want to find the positives, and focus on those blue, blue shoes.

Designer Shirley Corsey, it can only be inferred, is making a subtle nod to Prince Harry's royal background. Royalty is associated with blue because back the colour was difficult to make for paintings and was expensive as fuck.

It came from a rare mineral called lapis lazuli and powerful people would therefore commission paintings with blue in it to denote their wealth and status. And Prince Harry is a wealthy, status-heavy man. Therefore, royal blue shoes.

Here's a doll of Meghan Markle, his wife to be:

Okay, this one looks nothing like Meghan Markle, but never mind.

Anyone raining scorn on Ms Corsey's parade might want to have a look at other wedding-related items that can be found on Etsy before they start getting vocal.

I for one am endorsing her dolls with all my heart and soul, and hope she sells every last one of them, even if they have about as much resemblance to the real couple as a dolphin to a lion.
