O.J. Simpson has been granted parole for a Las Vegas robbery, a group of Nevada commissioners decided today.
He has already spent nine years in prison for the crime, for which he could have served a maximum of 33 years.

Simpson, 70, faced the parole board earlier today, maintaining that he didn't intend to steal but did 'wish this would have never happened'.
Simpson, who was acquitted for a double murder in 1995, told parole officials that the objects he took from the Las Vegas hotel room were later ruled to legally belong to him.
He and a group of five others stormed into a hotel room to confront two sports-memorabilia collectors to seize items in 2007.
