There have been reports in the media the past few weeks about the ongoing feud between Amir Khan's family and his wife Faryal Khan. I mean, you're not supposed to get on with your in-laws, really, are you? But this is next level.
According to reports his family are unhappy with the way Faryal chooses to conduct herself. Posting selfies, refusing to wear a headscarf , choosing to wear 'un-Islamic-dress' and showing off too much flesh.
Well, this is alleged to be the selfie that kicked it all off:
Her in-laws were said to be particularly annoyed with this shot, because of the amount of bare skin on show. According to the Daily Mail they have spoken to her about her 'nude' pictures, which this isn't because if you look by her shoulder, she seems to be wearing a white vest.
Her father-in-law, Sajjad Khan, told the paper that 'the writing's on the wall' and the couple could be headed for divorce pretty soon. He said: "She is pushing Amir to the limit with her accusations and I feel very sorry for my son.
"It's not fair. While he is out working so hard with his foundation, helping people he doesn't even know but who are so deprived and he just wants to make them happy, look what his wife's doing?
"She's not picking up the phone calling us to try and make amends. No, with her big ego she's gone on national TV and stuttering through the interview. It's crazy."
Faryal defiantly posted 'till death do us part' to her Twitter account shortly afterwards.
Speaking on This Morning Faryal claimed that his family called her a 'fake', a 'gold-digger' and told her she 'looked like Michael Jackson', which is a bit fucking harsh. She went on to say that she had been subjected to a campaign of abuse by the family for years.
Poor Amir who's stuck in the middle of all this has publicly pleaded with his family to get a grip or they run the risk of 'losing a son and a husband'.
