Aussie LAD Pulls Out An Absolute Monster Of A Mud Crab

Omg.

Australia is known for its venomous snakes, spiders, jellyfish, ants and pretty much any other creepy crawly that you can think of.

Because it's such a huge and diverse country, they can farm a hell of a lot of animals including cattle, sheep and poultry and even mud crabs.

The latter is an intense operation but it's a massive industry because crab meat always in high demand. They can be found in estuaries, backwaters and coastal areas and there are two types to find: green mud crabs and red claws.

Queenslander Beau Greaves set out on a mission to find a decent sized crab, and boy did he find one.

The video shows just how deep Beau is willing to go to get the massive crab, with more than half his body submerged in mud. He even gets his mate to put his hand on its back of the crab to show off just how big it is.

In a Facebook post, Beau says: "Another solid muddy up in the holes using my decoy stick, tried to explain it a little bit how to get them out. Been bitten twice, nearly lost a finger and been close to having my wrist crushed, but I guess the more you do it the better you get at it.

"Few little tricks help, the big part is where to look for them! Maybe one day I'll get the time and make a little video. Good fun, get out there and give it a go. It's illegal to use a crab hook in QLD, I guess if you can get one out like this you earned the feed."

But this looks like it's just another day at the office for Beau, with his Facebook littered with him getting up close and personal with crocodiles and huge fish.

The mud crab video has had more than one million views and 12,000 likes so far, with many viewers praising him for having the balls to go head first into that mud hole.

Would you be able to dive in and grab a mud crab that big?
