Daniel Radcliffe, what a guy. He's packed in doing Harry Potter flicks, but he's managed to go on to have one of the most interesting film careers in Hollywood, showing his versatility as an actor and playing a diverse range of roles, including starring in a play about a bloke who was into shagging horses.

The 27-year-old's latest role will see him playing a drug-smuggling pilot. Beast of Burden will follow Radcliffe playing Sean Haggerty, an outlaw who must navigate his way through the world of international drug dealing and shifting. In the film he's on his last trip, smuggling 55 pounds of pure cocaine across the border, when things suddenly go to shit.

Swedish director Jesper Ganslandt makes his English language debut for the film, with the script courtesy of Adam Hoelzel.

Talking about the mixture of roles he's played since escaping the Potter franchise, he recently said: "I think I get an undeserved amount of credit playing diverse things because people saw me playing one role for a long time

"Really, it's just what most actors want; as varied a career as possible. I'm just lucky enough to be in a position where I can do that."

Beast of Burden is due out some time next year.
