Big, big news.

The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air actor Jazzy Jeff has revealed there have been talks to bring the 90s show back - and needless to say we're hyped.

The DJ, real name Jeffrey Allen Townes, 52, appeared to confirm the show was likely to return during a recent interview.

Speaking to the Sun, he said: "There have been talks with people about doing something. I think it would be cool if they did it and go down memory lane again.

"It's a blessing to be part of something that people still hold in high regard. You can't beat that.

"It's hard for people to keep their attention span normally, but to be able to keep it for all these years and transcend generations, put their kids onto it, this is deep."

Smith, Alfonso Ribeiro (Carlton Banks), Tatyana Ali (Ashley), Karyn Parsons (Hilary), Daphne Reid (Vivien) and Joseph Marcell (Geoffrey the Butler) reunited back in March for the show's 20th anniversary, leading to speculation that it would be coming back.

The news comes as Jeff will reunite with Smith on August 27 for a performance at the Livewire Festival in Blackpool, England and he also discussed their music together.

He explained: "This has been a long time coming. I have been fighting for it.

"Being one of the biggest movie guys in the world, it was really about Will's schedule and freeing up the time.

"But Will's heart is still in music - he keeps talking about it and bringing it up. I told him 'listen, man, we need to satisfy that heart'."

Sadly the DJ made no indication to The Sun that Smith, 48, be part of a reboot. In fact it's only a year ago that the Men in Black star denied rumors that the show would be revived.

"I don't think ever, like pretty close to when hell freezes over," he said. "Like we're going to leave that one alone."

Hopefully Will's had a change of heart, it would be great to see the show on our screens again although it won't be the same without Uncle Phil.
