Power 95.3's 'GetUp Crew in Orlando' radio show had a special guest today.
Actor John Witherspoon stopped by to say that there's a new Friday movie coming.
John dropped the huge news, saying he'd just spoken to Ice Cube, who told him the project had got the greenlight from studio execs, 15 years since the release of Friday After Next.

John Witherspoon, who played Ice Cube's father in the film, shared the following update with TMZ, saying: "I was at the airport and I saw Ice Cube.
"Cube said he's gonna do another Friday. He said he wanted to meet with me, he couldn't make it, but we're gonna do meet next week and get things together."
Before adding: "There's a new guy at Warner Brothers. Thank god! Hell yeah!"

Fan will be hoping that, given Cube's recently Hollywood success in films like Straight Outta Compton, there will be a bigger budget for the Friday sequel.
If you've never seen it, the original cult-classic Friday is a 1995 American stoner buddy comedy film, on which F. Gary Gray made his directorial debut.
The next film in the franchise was Next Friday in 2000, followed by Friday After Next in 2002.
Along with Cube the movie also starred Chris Tucker, but it still remains to be seen whether the 45-year-old comedian will be making a return as Smokey.

In a 2015 interview with VIBE, Angela Means, who played Felicia, shared her thoughts on the chances of another Friday follow-up.
"Cube wants to keep going, but people have moved on and the same people aren't available at the same rate and don't have the same time or the same inclination," she said.
"That's where it is. It's going to be timely and when it happens, it'll happen. It's not like people are opposed to it, but it's just the nature of the business, just timing. It's got to be right."
So I guess we're all but officially confirmed now. I'm fucking hyped, how about you?
