Big news.

You probably thought Jax Teller was never coming back after his fatal car chase in the final episode of Sons of Anarchy, but according to 36-year-old actor Charlie Hunnan viewers could be in for a surprise.

The last time we saw Jax Teller was when he committed suicide during the final scene of Sons of Anarchy, which came to a close in 2014.

But Charlie has revealed that he could appear in new spin-off show Mayans MC, as he would 'do anything' for the producers.

Speaking to TMZ, the actor admitted he'd be willing make an appearance if he was asked.

He said: "Listen, if they call me... if they want me to do a little dream sequence..."

"I'll do anything for Jax, I love that guy, but I think I'm dead."

The pilot for Mayans MC will start shooting in March, with Sons of Anarchy and The Shield creator Kurt Sutter one again at the helm.

Sutter co-wrote the script with long-time friend and filmmaker Elgin James.

Sutter had previously expressed interest in making both a prequel and a spin-off to his hit crime series before it was announced he was developing a show about the Sons Of Anarchy Motorcycle Club's Hispanic rivals, the Mayans.

In the original series, the Mayans were a competing biker gang which eventually agree a temporary alliance with the Sons.

"I wanted to find a strong, unique Latino voice," Sutter said. "Because I didn't think a white guy from Jersey should be writing about Latin culture and traditions. Elgin is that voice."

Sons Of Anarchy came to an end in 2014 after seven seasons.

"The show is set in a post Jax Teller world," FX said in a statement.

"Where EZ Reyes, a prospect in the Mayan MC charter on the Cali/Mexi border, struggles with his desire for vengeance against the cartel, and his need for respect from the women he loves."

I'm looking forward to it, whether Jax makes an appearance or not.
