The guests have been announced for the upcoming Carpool Karaoke web series on Apple Music

A spinoff of Corden's Late Late Show segment as usual it will feature celebrity pairings driving around the streets of Los Angeles singing their hearts out.

Amongst the guests are Ariana Grande, Will Smith and 16 time WWE champion John Cena.

The teaser trailer features John Cena and Shaquille O'Neal behind the counter of a bakery, Ariana Grande and Seth MacFarlane getting festive with some antlers, and Will Smith and James Corden conducting a marching band from the car.

John Cena's appearance will likely come ahead of Wrestlemania 33, which is planned for 2 April.

He made history by becoming a 16 time WWE Champion after flooring AJ Styles with a series of Attitude Adjustments at the recent Royal Rumble. And also proved he's a jam up guy.

He's not really well-liked by hardcore WWE fans, who see him as a sort of Jar Jar Binks equivalent, designed to entertain kids and sell toys.

After his Rumble win, as he was getting booed, instead of parading around the ring reveling in the hate, Cena chose to hop over the guardrail and talk to a Make-A-Wish child, even giving him the chance to hold and pose with the world title. For those who don't know, Cena has granted more wishes for the Make-A-Wish company than any other celebrity.

Watch as Cena takes time out of his own special moment to talk to the fan. It's a great gesture from the face of the company, who, no matter how you feel about the quality of his clotheslines, is a pretty universally-loved personality outside of the ring.

Even though he has met a number of children with the charity, he doesn't feel it to be anywhere near enough.

In an interview with Men's Health last year, the wrestler and actor said: "That's over 15 years, roughly 5,475 days," in reference his wishes. "That means I've been idle for 4,975 days. I feel like I'm not meeting enough kids. The days I see a Make-A-Wish kid are the best days of the week. It's a real privilege.

"I give them exactly what they give me-hope. It's a day off from the normal struggle."

What a guy.
