Larry Lamb has suggested that there could be a Gavin & Stacey movie, seven and a half years since the end of the sitcom.
Although writers Ruth Jones and James Corden have stated plenty of times there won't be another series, they have yet to rule out the possibility of a movie.
And the actor, who played Gavin's dad Mick in the show, told the Daily Mail: "I think it's a distinct possibility that one day, they might make a film - that's it.

"That's purely conjecture... It's got a huge audience, so I'm sure that's what they'll do.
"I don't think anybody that was in it would ever say no to it."

He also repeated Jones's statements, adding: "I think it's highly unlikely that they'll ever make another television series of Gavin & Stacey."
This year marked the 10th anniversary of the show's debut on BBC Three, which starred the likes of James Corden, Ruth Jones, Joanna Page, and Mathew Horne.
Needless to say Twitter reacted with excitement to the news:
Earlier in the year it was revealed that the show had been voted among the ten best sitcoms of the 21st century, with Mrs Brown's Boys coming top, so it's fair to say there are a lot of viewers eagerly awaiting its return.
