Fans of the Saw franchise will be happy to hear that the first trailer for the eighth instalment in the franchise, Jigsaw, is out.
The upcoming sequel comes seven years after Saw: The Final Chapter and is directed by brothers Michael and Peter Spierig (Daybreakers) with a script written by Pete Goldfinger and Josh Stolberg (Piranha 3D, Sorority Row).
Needless to say the trailer is creepy as fuck:

The film will star Laura Vandervoort (Bitten, Smallville) and Hannah Anderson (Shoot the Messenger, Lizzie Borden Took an Ax), alongside: Mandela Van Peebles, Brittany Allen, Callum Keith Rennie, Matt Passmore, Hannah Emily Anderson, Josiah Black, Shaquan Lewis, Michael Bolsvert, and James Gomez.
Speaking about the film, co-directors Michael Spierig, told Entertainment Weekly: "We've got some pretty wild traps in the film - we don't shy away from the gore It's such a perfect Halloween scarefest.
"It's perhaps not quite as vicious and more fun, which is something we tried to inject into it. But's still full of good fun gore, that's for sure. And, on top of that, it's got a really great mystery, and there's very interesting twists. It's Saw for 2017."

Given that the last seven Saw films have a combined worldwide box office gross of around $870 million, on a combined budget of roughly $67 million, it's safe to assume the latest offering will be a hit.
The horror will arrive in cinemas just in time for Halloween on October 27.
