Oreo Peanut Butter Ice Cream Sandwiches Are Finally Here

Oreo Peanut Butter Ice Cream Sandwiches Are Finally Here

Ore- oh my god!

We're almost at the end of April, which means only one thing, summer is almost here: bringing beautiful sunshine, barbecues with friends and cooling down in the shade with an ice-cream.

What's more, this year the boys over at Oreo have gone ahead and introduced a real game changer when it comes to the latter of those three - and I'm talking a real game changer here - with the release of its new peanut butter-flavored ice cream sandwich.

They began production of peanut butter flavoured biscuits back in 2015 and now they've expanded them into an ice-cream.

Each sandwich is made up of two massive Oreo cookies and a peanut butter ice cream filling. But the peanut butter ice cream is not just plain old peanut butter ice cream, there are also little pieces of Oreo cookie in the mix, to add a little extra crunch.

Oreo Peanut Butter Ice Cream Sandwiches can be purchased individually or in a box of six and like the Cadbury Peanut Butter Oreo bars, they are currently only available in the UK.

It comes after earlier in the year, when Cadbury's dropped the limited edition Oreo Creme Egg.

The egg was brought to Britain after doing the rounds in places like Canada and to be honest it's nice to see the UK getting a delicious food for a change, as usually it feels as though we're getting short changed.

In America, for example, they have Reese's creme eggs, KFCs in Japan have gravy on tap, McDonald's in Indonesia are selling a McRib/Big Mac cross over burgers, and a real-life Los Pollos Hermanos has opened in Tasmania.

How about bringing that stuff over to Britain whilst you're at it guys?

For anybody living outside the UK who wants to get their hands on Oreo's peanut butter ice cream sandwiches but can't, I guess the best thing for you to do would be to scoop some ice cream between two Oreo biscuits and then to smear some peanut butter on top.

Either that, or you could see if they'll willing to start stocking them in your local imported foods shop.
