Man Films Himself Smashing A Perfect Game Of Bowling In A Ridiculous Time

Wow, what an effort.

I don't know about you, but whenever I go bowling it feels pretty great just to get a strike, so when I watched this video I was pretty blown away.

Ben Ketola was recently bowling at an 281 Bowl in Cortland, New York, and decided to set himself a challenge

He set up all 10 lanes and then raced from lane to lane, rolling a different ball in each one.

The 23-year-old two-handed bowler charged between the lanes and managed to knock down all the pins each time. After covering all 10, he then went back to the final two to close out the line, giiving himself a perfect 300 game in 86.2 seconds.

That means each strike took around seven seconds.

"It was fun to do. I honestly wasn't expecting to do it," Ketola told local media . "I just wanted to see how quickly I could get across the house and get strikes."

He works at the lanes where the video was filmed and is a pretty decent bowler, averaging 225 a game.

Sadly for him there is no official speed category in the official United States Bowling Congress' record books.

He says he wanted to attempt the challenge after watching a 2015 YouTube video posted by pro bowler Tom Dougherty, in which he fired 12 strikes over 12 lanes. When that was recorded it was billed at the time the world's fastest 300 game in 110.99 seconds.

This means that Ketola managed to smash the pro's record by almost half-a-minute.

"One day while I was practicing I decided I wanted to give it a try and see if I could do it," said Ketola.

He bowls at least 50 games a week during his time at the lanes, so gets a lot of practice, and it looks like this isn't the end for his bowling challenges.

"Next time I may set up all spares on the lanes and see how fast I can make those," Ketola said.

Fair play to the guy, it's good to see that having smashed one record he's going back on the march again.
