This Guy Has Been Living Out Of A Storage Unit For Two Months

Cheap rent, if we are honest.

I don't know about you but the prospect of being homeless and living out of my car sounds like a logistical nightmare, and a situation I would be looking to get away from as soon as I possibly could.

But apparently not everyone feels this way. In fact, one YouTuber - username 007craft - who found himself living out of his car after he undertook a long-distance hiking and equestrian trail in North America decided to own that shit.

He opted to cast away the shackles of bricks and mortar by turning his 2009 Honda Civic into a 'cosy' living space

You can check out a video of his pumped-up car here...

I know what you're thinking here, something along the lines of: "Sure he's converted that car and it looks okay - don't get me wrong, there's no way in hell I would move into that thing. But, just one question, where did he live while he was making the improvements?"

Well, that's a good question and I'm glad you asked it.

Whilst he was converting his Honda, he found he was having to access his storage unit regularly because he didn't have a house, so he decided that at the same time as he was making his car 'liveable' he would also convert it and start living in that.

Take a look here...

He was living there for two months.

Needless to say, living in a storage unit is illegal, and given the hot plate and toaster oven this guy has, it's also a fire hazard - but there again there's no doubting the ingenuity of it.

I can't help but think it would be a bit of a hassle, though. I mean, imagine what the security guard must have been thinking every time he saw him walking into the storage unit, only for him to return 12 hours later in a fresh pair of clothes. And how about if he wants to have a lady friend over for the night, how the hell do you explain that?

007craft says he only spent around $100 making the space his home, and his rent was only $205. There's no turning your nose up at those prices.
