He's certainly enjoying some well deserved time off.

When Conor McGregor lost his ultimate fight against Floyd Mayweather, he was asked about what he'll do with his life in the short term.

His answer was in typical McGregor style; with a glass of his own brand of whiskey, he told the crowd: "I'm gonna hit Ibiza. A childhood friend is getting married, I'm going to charter out a 100-foot yacht for the day, fuck that paying for the whole thing, the whole whack.

"And just rally for a day, have a big party on it, take a load of pictures, and then get the fuck off it. That's my plan. And then we'll see what's next."

Well, the wedding happened over the weekend and the MMA star drew a lot of attention.

Photos and videos uploaded on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram show a shirtless McGregor in bright red shorts being escorted through plenty of fans at Ocean Beach Ibiza. Despite him still showing bruises from the Mayweather fight, he appeared to be in a pretty good mood and posed for photos with a number of people.

He also posted a photo to his personal account, wishing his two mates a happy wedding: "Some buzz watching two childhood friends get married in Ibiza yesterday! Congrats Tom and Emma absolutely delighted for you both!

"Bring on today's party oh yes! #UpTheDevitts."

McGregor is still deciding where he wants his career to go following his boxing debut. His former sparring partner Paulie Maglinaggi has offered the terms for the Irishman to meet him in the ring, but The Notorious appears more interested in meeting Nate Diaz for round three.

In a video, McGregor says: "I faced him at 170lbs, he beat me. I rematched him at 170lbs, I beat him. Now I'm the 155lbs champion, now if he wants that fight, he must come down - that's a fair trade.

"I didn't ask for the rematch at a lower weight. I asked for it at the exact same weight. I thought that was a fair play move on my behalf and I came in and I won. So now I won the 155lb title after that, so if he wants the fight he has to make the 155lb limit."

Word has obviously reached the Diaz team, and they've replied accordingly, saying they want at least $20million for the bout.

"[We want] at least $20 million, $30 million," Richard Perez, the Stockton fighter's coach, told Submission Radio. "Come on. UFC's making a whole lot of money.

There's no doubt that McGregor has plenty of options in front of him, but he can't be blamed for wanting to relax in the sun and enjoy time with his long-time girlfriend and son.
