Floyd 'Money' Mayweather wasted little time after the big fight before he began splashing the cash.

He's reported to have blown a sizable hole in the £230 million ($300m) he made from the fight after taking nine close friends and family members on a shoe shopping spree.

Mayweather posted a huge receipt of his spendings to Instagram, alongside the caption: "Took nine of them shoe shopping today."

Talking on a documentary series called All Access: Mayweather v McGregor earlier in the month, the American boxer stated that he would earn $300m for his part in the fight.

He said: "I mean, am I the highest paid athlete out there? And just coming back? Are we not talking about no contact?

"We not talking about no contract for no four years, or no contract for no five years. I can do it in 36 minutes.

"$300m or better. In 36 minutes."

Following the match, where he defeated 'The Notorious' Conor McGregor by technical knockout after 10 rounds, he uploaded a video to Instagram which showed him accepting the cheque as well as his very shiny and gold WBC belt.

Following the incredible win, Mayweather announced his retirement from boxing, saying in his post-match press conference: "I chose the right dance partner to dance with." He then confirmed that he'll never fight again, leaving his legacy behind with an emphatic record of 50-0.

Well, with a paycheque like the one above, I'm sure he won't run out of activities to keep him busy.

Mayweather later celebrated his win with a trip to Las Vegas strip club Girl Collection. Which he owns, because of course he does. Arriving in a stylish red convertible, he also spent the night partying under flashing signs displaying his 50-0 stat. Keeping things modest and understated then, eh?
