He'll be feeling that one in the morning.

To the female readers, to whom a 'kick in the nuts' is merely an abstraction, a puerile metaphor for something going really really bad, the following video will probably quite amusing. But for men, I imagine it will illicit a more complex array of feelings.

On one hand, it's undeniable that someone getting kicked in the balls is funny. But, on the other, we can all recall that visceral feeling, so absorbingly painful that language is incapable of accurately describing it.

That swelling that seems to reach up though the stomach and continue up your chest, then neck, then eyes, until it reaches every compartment of your body.

The coupled sense of existential pain, and loneliness, and worry that this feeling might never go away, as your eyes water and you double forward in agony.

Myung Hyun-Man stood opposite Aorigele at Road FC 39 in South Korea on Saturday night.

The crowd roared, the contest was set, but it didn't take long before Aorigele's world would fall apart.

The force of the kick led to the fight being abandoned so medics could tend to the fighter.

You have to imagine that he'll still be feeling that one in the morning.

Of course not every MMA kick lands on the nuts though. Back in March, Edson Barboza landed a spectacular flying knee to finish his fight against Beneil Dariush. The move came in the second round at UFC Fight Night in Brazil.

As Dariush moved to grab Barboza's legs, his opponent took to the air crunched his knee into Dariush's jaw.

Boom. Lights out.

There sure have been some epic MMA moments over the years, when Lando fought John Makdessi in a prelim battle at UFC 206 in Toronto, winning by - you guessed it - knocking him the fuck out.

Take a look at the spinning wheel kick that earned him his first UFC victory here...

Vannata was competing in just his second UFC bout after his loss to top lightweight contender Tony Ferguson.

Makdessi looked to be alright by the time he left the Octagon, but this was his third loss in four fights.

Meanwhile, Vannata is now 1-1 in the Octagon, with his overall fight record at 9-1.
