WATCH: Olivier Giroud Scores Arguably The Goal Of The Season

Olivier Giroud has opened the scoring for Arsenal in their home game against Crystal Palace with a showstopper.

Henrikh Mkhitaryan recently hit the headlines for scoring a delightful scorpion kick goal in United's recent win over Sunderland, but Giroud scored a goal that probably supersedes it.

After being picked out by an Alexis Sanchez cross, Giroud adjusted his body position superbly and managed to pull off an outrageous scorpion kick goal that looped over Wayne Hennessey in the Crystal Palace goal.

The technique to score a goal like that is off the charts.

Even if we are just a day into 2017, we may have just seen the goal of the season and Puskas award winner.
