Festivals are an absolute hotbed for missing items; Parklife 2014 saw more than 300 mobile phones misplaced over the two-day weekend, while Leeds Festival 2015's lost property department received 100 driving licences, eight passports, 106 wallets, 10 car keys, and 172 bank cards.

Connor Parkinson, lost his phone while hitting up at Boomtown Festival, in Winchester, England, last weekend.

But while he was at the Lion's Den stage on the Sunday night, he stumbled across another phone while looking for his own. He thought the handset belonged to a mate of his, until he got home, charged it up and realised it was someone else's.

Connor has told LADbible: "On my way home I received a phone call from [the phone owner's] dad who I had a brief conversation with; and we agreed that he would try and drive to my house after the festival as they lived far away from Boomtown."

The dad came to collect the phone, but when Connor's dog ran outside, he stumbled into the phone's real owner.

Turns out it was Ramona Marquez, who played Karen Brockman from the BBC One sitcom Outnumbered. The award-winning 16-year-old has also appeared in The King's Speech, The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel and Enid.

His sister uploaded a photo of the encounter on Twitter and it's been liked by more than 54,000 people.

Connor tells us: "She was so nice about everything and so was her dad. They offered me money as a reward but I refused to take it because it wasn't in the spirit of the festival and I was grateful to have my own phone returned.

"She was honestly so nice and you could tell she loved Boom as much as I did.

"I took the photo and sent it to my sister as I knew she was a massive fan. Didn't think to upload it myself as didn't think it would get near as much attention as it did."
