If you've ever had a parking ticket, you'll know how frustrating it is. Getting hit with the fine can seriously ruin your day, and if you've actually paid and displayed, then it's even more of a kick in the face.
That's exactly what happened to motorist Tom Moore, who was slapped with a parking fine, despite buying a ticket, as he wasn't parked in a 'proper bay'.

Tom filmed the parking attendant who issued him with the ticket at a car park in Wolverhampton, and shared the footage on Facebook.
In the clip you can hear Tom furiously arguing his case, but the warden doesn't relent.
Tom can be heard saying: "Apparently, this isn't a bay. These lines aren't there. The ones that are running down my vehicle, are not there.

"Yet this woman think it's okay."
However, the parking warden replies: "You're still getting a ticket."
To which Tom asks her if she 'really loves her job', before branding her a 'jobsworth'.
The warden can then be seen placing the ticket on the windscreen of Tom's Alfa Romeo.

The two then get into an argument about whether he can film or not, but he carries on. At one point he asks another motorist if he can see the bay, to which the second man says he can.
As he continues to film the warden, she threatens to ring the police if he doesn't stop, before adding that she will sue if he posts the video online.

Sharing his video on Facebook, Tom wrote: "I've just had a parking ticket even though I paid. "Can you share to show how Wolverhampton council treats it's customers. Thank you."
Since it was uploaded yesterday, the clip has been viewed almost 300,000 times and received thousands of comments.

A spokesperson from City of Wolverhampton Council told LADbible: "The traffic enforcement officer involved in this incident was subjected to aggressive and abusive behaviour which was unacceptable and cannot be condoned.
"If someone wants to disagree with a decision regarding a penalty charge notice, there is an official process through which to do so. They can challenge the decision in writing or online at www.wolverhampton.gov.uk/parking.
"The parking bays at Snow Hill car park were repainted prior to opening in December 2016. A number of former bays were taken up at the same time to improve traffic flow around the car park, and 'no parking' cones were put down to prevent people from parking where the old bays used to be."
They also sent across this image from Google Earth, to show the old parking bays:

The spokesperson added: "Circled in red are the bays which were removed last year, and you can see from this that this area now forms part of the "roadway" around the car park. We have highlighted with a red rectangle the approximate spot the vehicle involved in this incident was parked.
And this picture, which shows, the lines of the new marked bays (bottom right) compared to the older ones. The spokesperson continued: "Cones were put down at this location to prevent people from parking in these bays as this would both stop motorists from driving around the car park and from being able to access the marked bays."
