Guy Who Parked Across Four Spaces Explains Why

What do you reckon to this?

Is there a more guaranteed way to bring out road rage than seeing someone parked selfishly? I don't think so.

Driving round and round a car park, looking for a spot that isn't there, because someone has decided their car needs two. Or in this case, four. Yep, one car, four spaces.

One proud SEAT owner has explained why he parked his car across four spaces and it's actually got people pretty divided on whether or not he's a selfish-parker.

A photo of the four-parking-space-hogging white SEAT has turned up in a Facebook group called Spotted: Spalding, with the caption: "Fabulous parking in Spalding!" Check it out in all its glory:

But rather than cringe at the fact his parking has been shamed online and keep a low-profile, a guy called Fabio Silva came forward claiming he was owner of the vehicle and he went on to explain why he feels the need to take up four spaces.

You ready for this?

Commenting on the post, Fabio wrote: "This is jokes. Nothing quite like parking and taking up 4 spaces.

"Start spending hundreds of pounds on your car and then you'll understand where I'm coming from.

"Sorry for not wanting idiots ruining my pride and joy."

What do you reckon to that? Do you think 'idiots' might wreck his 'pride and joy' by smashing their doors into his?

Most people weren't impressed, telling him to get 'better insurance', calling him a 'knob' and accusing him of 'taking the piss'. One didn't even seem to care about the parking anymore, saying: "And to think the person driving that car was the fastest swimmer! What a poor gene pool."

As ever on social media, though, opinions were split and others sided with him.

One wrote: "I'd park like that as well, these people that get out, don't give a shit and bang doors..." while another commented: "And seeing someone open their door on another car I don't blame them for parking their car like that."

I'm not convinced, how about you?
