Good News Everybody: Argos Is Selling Hot Tubs For The Same Price As Aldi

This is not a drill.

Remember a couple of weeks ago when Aldi released its low-cost hot tub? We all got pretty excited and then it sold out within about 13 seconds? Remember that? It was a sad day, wasn't it?

Well, if you were one of the heartbroken people stood outside your local Aldi, hot tub-less and feeling like a failure, do I have good news for you?

Yes, I do. Because Argos has now introduced its own cut-price hot tub. Thanks, Argos.

The four-man Miami Lay-Z-Spa hot tub is on sale for £299.99 and, as I write these very words which you are now reading with your very eyes, there are still plenty in stock.

Although it was quoting 19 days for delivery. Still, it means it will be here in time for the next Bank Holiday...

So, just think, within 19 days you could be relaxing in your very own hot tub, like someone off Come Dine With Me.

The Lay-Z-Spa was £429.99 but has had £130 knocked off the price and it comes with an impressive five stars from 95 reviews. It doesn't get much stronger than this. If this were a film on Rotten Tomatoes we'd be looking at a solid 100 percent, here.

One happy hot-tubber wrote: "Easy to set up very pleased with result good entry level spa." Entry level, that's about right isn't? I'm not ready for a professional-level-hot tub.

Other reviewers say it's cheap to run, which is a bonus and that it's easy to put together. It even comes with a DVD to show you how to set it up, which seems totally unnecessary but I'm still impressed.

The description says: "The simple, sleek blue finish will look great in your home, either indoors or outdoors. It's strong and sturdy, easy to assemble inflatable design is supported by reinforced outer walls to accommodate up to four people." Indoors, though? I don't know about that. I also think you're going to need to be on very close terms with those three other people.

Anyway, what are you waiting for?
