A mum said she didn't know if she should be 'proud or embarrassed' after her little boy drew a picture of her. And, no, it's nothing to with his art-skills, in fact, he's done a pretty decent job.
So, why?
Well, look:

Yeah, that's what you think it is. Still, he should get extra points for biological accuracy.
Penny Rohleder, from New South Wales, Australia, was handed the drawing by her five-year-old son Julian, who proudly told her he had drawn a family portrait.
When Penny asked him what the red bit was, Julian casually told her it was her period.

Fair play to the kid being so clued up at five. Penny said she had explained periods to her kids and its clearly something that stuck with Julian. So much so, he couldn't wait to include it in his artwork.
Describing the moment her son passed her the drawing, she told the Daily Mail Australia: "I said, 'Thanks mate, that's beautiful!' And he said, 'I thought you'd love it.'
"Then my seven-year-old daughter pipes up and said, 'He added something,' and I looked again, and realised the red and I said, 'What's that red bit on me?'

"He shrugged, looked at me with his big brown eyes and said, 'That's your period.'
"I lost the plot at that point - I couldn't stop laughing."
Penny shared her son's artwork with blogger Constance Hall, and it's since had 24,000 likes and been shared almost 700 times. He's smashing it.

The comments were full of similar tales of precocious kids expressing their understanding of biology through their Crayolas, as well as people praising the mum for explaining periods to her son while he's still young.
Penny hasn't said whether the drawing has made it onto the fridge door or not. I reckon probably not - what about you?
